General Conditions

Conditions

This document constitutes the economic offer under the terms of Article 845 of the Commercial Code. The proposal must be accepted or rejected within 05 days following the delivery date.
The proposal may be revoked before its expiration, under the just cause of changes in the economic conditions of the quotations made as a result of updates to airline, hotel, and operator rates.

Prices are subject to changes and availability at the time of reservation. All reservations are subject to written confirmation, with all minimum required data. All service prices are based on current rates and currency exchange at the date of this quotation, subject to modifications due to changes in rates and availability in each of the services at the effective time of offer confirmation.

Rates according to the requested number of passengers, any modification is subject to re-quotation.
The quotation only includes the requested services, any additional service will have the corresponding cost. This quotation does NOT imply any reservation or confirmation.

Required Documentation

  • Identity Document (original).
  • Birth Certificate for minors (original).
  • Exit permits from the country if applicable for minors.
  • Health documentation when applicable in the destination country (vaccination cards, records, etc.).
  • Passport with 6 months validity.
  • Visa in countries where applicable.

Cancellation Penalties

  • Up to 15 days before the trip start date: 70%
  • Up to 8 days before the trip start date: 80%
  • Up to 3 days before the trip start date: 90%
  • Services NOT taken and NO SHOW: 100%

Payment Method

This quotation is for payment by transfer, deposit, or payment link (Conditions apply).

Information to Request Reservation

Reservations must be requested as far in advance as possible to block the corresponding spaces, these must arrive in writing, indicating:

  • Full names and surnames of each passenger.
  • Type and identification number of each passenger.
  • Date of birth for each passenger.
  • Copy of passport/visa with a minimum validity of six (6) months (according to destination).

Important Notes

Note 1. Any difference or error in the information previously provided, and that causes charges for modifications or changes, will be fully assumed by the passenger.

Note 2. It is the passenger's obligation to verify the required documentation and its validity for their trip, such as: visas, permits, passports, identification documents, required vaccines, etc., previously informed by the Travel Agency.

Note 3. Upon confirming the reservation and issuance of any itinerary or service, it is established that the client accepts the economic offer and all conditions and indications stated regarding rates, services, and schedules.

Responsibility Clauses

In accordance with Article 2.2.4.3.2.4 of Decree 1074 of 2015, the company indicates the following:

1. Organizer's Responsibility

The responsibility of the tour plan or package organizer is limited to what is offered in the economic offer regarding hotels, assistance cards, and other services acquired in the plan.

2. Transportation Services

Regarding transportation services, THE COMPANY acts as a travel agency under the terms of Article 2.2.4.3.2.3 of Decree 1074 of 2015, therefore it assumes no responsibility to the user or traveler for air transportation service, except in the case of chartered flights. The provision of air transportation service is governed by the legal regulations applicable to air transportation service. Events such as delays or unforeseen modifications in flight schedules arranged by airlines, user rights, and procedures to make effective the refunds to which these events give rise, will be governed by the pertinent legal provisions and particularly by those contained in the Colombian Aeronautical Regulation.

3. Modification Restrictions

When due to the fare or for any other reason there are restrictions to make modifications to the air reservation, endorsements, or refunds, THE COMPANY will indicate this in the respective quotation and the terms and conditions of the acquired fare.

4. Service Refunds

The terms and conditions under which the refund of unused tourist services will be made will be verified depending on the time of the refund request, which will be determined when the service is canceled prior to its start or when it is canceled once the trip has started.

In cases where the service is canceled prior to the start, the following will be considered:
Which services can be refunded.
Cause of cancellation and its application considering the fare and offer conditions.
For refundable services, deductions or penalties previously established by providers and the Travel Agency's administrative fees will be applied.

In cases where the service is canceled once the trip has started and must be interrupted, the following will be considered:
Which services can be refunded.
Cause of cancellation and its application considering the fare and offer conditions.
For refundable services, deductions or penalties previously established by providers and the Travel Agency's administrative fees will be applied.
The right to the return air ticket will be subject to the regulations of the acquired air fare.

5. Force Majeure Events

Parce Travel Colombia, nor its organizers, operators, and agents assume responsibility for events such as accidents, strikes, riots, earthquakes, natural weather phenomena, security conditions, political factors, denial of entry permits, health issues, and any other case of force majeure that may occur during the trip and will only commit to providing services and making refunds as outlined in Decree No. 1074 of 2015.

6. Itinerary Changes

Parce Travel Colombia, its organizers, operators, and agents reserve the right to make changes to the itinerary, travel dates, hotels of similar or superior category, transportation, and other changes necessary to ensure the success of the trip when required by the considerations mentioned in clause 5 and/or situations of proper service fulfillment.

7. Traveler Documentation

Parce Travel Colombia will inform the required documentation to facilitate travel to domestic destinations, however, it is the user's obligation to comply with the informed requirements.

8. Special Events

Reservations and tickets for participation in cruises, events, congresses, fairs, exhibitions, admission to attractions and similar exhibitions will be subject to the conditions indicated by the organizing companies of such events.

9. Luggage and Documents

The passenger will be exclusively responsible for the custody of their luggage and travel documents. Parce Travel Colombia may guide the passenger in the event of loss of their luggage or travel documents, however, under no circumstances will it be responsible for the loss, damage, deterioration, or loss of such items. Parce Travel Colombia will inform the passenger of the restrictions established by airlines regarding prohibitions, maximum weight, and number of pieces per passenger, persons allowed in tourist attractions or sites, limitations or impediments of access due to maximum capacity. However, it will be the exclusive responsibility of the passenger to comply with these policies, which may vary by provision of transport companies and other providers.

10. Taxes and Fees

Taxes, fees, and contributions that affect air fares, hotel rates, and other services offered by Parce Travel Colombia may vary at any time by provision of the National Government or the corresponding foreign entity, as the case may be, which must be assumed by the passenger at the time of issuing tickets or service orders.

11. Service Guarantee

To guarantee any of the services confirmed by Parce Travel Colombia, it will be essential for the client to make a deposit equivalent to a minimum percentage of 30% (previously agreed) of the total plan value. By making the deposit or payment to guarantee any reservation, the client declares that they know the conditions of the contracted services and accept the Hotels, Transportation, Ground Services, etc. registered in this confirmation.

12. Retraction and Withdrawal

The rights of retraction and withdrawal will apply in accordance with Article 47 of Law 1480 of 2011 (Consumer Statute), Decree 1074 of 2015 Single Regulatory Decree of the Commerce, Industry and Tourism Sector, and the Colombian Aeronautical Regulation (RAC-3) in its most updated version.
In accordance with the aforementioned regulations, the right of retraction applies exclusively to those sales made through non-traditional or distance methods or channels, applying for this purpose the definitions contained in numerals 15 and 16 of Article 5 of Law 1480 of 2011. Therefore, it does NOT APPLY to ticket purchases made directly by the passenger at travel agency offices.

13. Service Extension and Prolongation

When the user wishes to extend or prolong the agreed services, they must communicate this to the provider with reasonable advance notice, with any extension or prolongation of services subject to availability and capacity. Costs caused by modifications and changes will be fully assumed by the client or user without responsibility on the part of Parce Travel Colombia.

14. Legal Commitment and Sustainability

Parce Travel Colombia is committed to compliance with Law 679 of 2001 which establishes measures to prevent and counteract exploitation, prostitution, pornography, sex tourism, and other forms of sexual abuse of children and adolescents. Likewise, it is committed to compliance with the Technical Quality Standards issued by the Sectoral Standardization Units on Tourism Sustainability, as established in Resolution 148 of January 19, 2015 issued by the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Tourism.
